Borrowing some technical vocabulary from film studies and game design, in this presentation I shall argue that new Information and Communication Technologies are breaking the boundaries between diegetic information (i.e., information available within a given environment) and non-diegetic information (i.e., information available only outside a given environment), in favour of a transdiegetisation of the infosphere (i.e., information that can be available inside or outside a given environment in a dynamic way).
